The People behind Pure Paani

Christopher Bulkley-Logston and Kaylea Brase Menon started Pure Paani in 2017 after completing a social entrepreneurship course focused on global grand challenges at the University of Minnesota.

Chris Bulkley-Logston

Chris is a three-time Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) after having served as a middle school Physics teacher in Guinea Conakry, a highschool Physics teacher in Cameroon and a University trainer of teachers in Liberia. He completed his MS degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities after earning his BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California at Davis. After cofounding Pure Paani in 2016, he is serving as the company’s CEO while working as a Civil Engineer for the Department of Public Works in San Francisco, California, USA. While he relishes the opportunity to try any new culinary creation, his favorite food is and will always be blueberries. 

Kaylea Brase Menon

Kaylea completed her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and her Master’s International degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She led the manufacturing operations for Medtronic as a technical supervisor. She has been working in Bangalore, India as Pure Paani’s COO since August 2017. She is passionate about water quality and serving marginalized communities.

Camila Rebello Amui

Camila is a Brazilian Environmental Engineer passionate about community development and water. She was the Regional Director of Social Development of Liter of Light Brasil, and came to India as an IDEX fellow to join our team as a manager! She is loving India and wants to help take Pure Paani further.
